Opinion on Coral Reef for lunch?? DD will be 6 and would love the fish tanks. Can you request a table by the fish? Food pics would be appreciated:)

Coral Reef, by far, was the most disappointing restaurant of our last trip. The food was mediocre at best with limited choices. Yes, its cool to see the fish, but there are so many great tanks/aquarium in The Seas that you can still see plenty without dining at Coral Reef.

I must say, it wasn't MY favorite restaurant but I'm glad we tried it. DD and I thought the food was very good and I really enjoyed the aquarium. My sister and niece LOVED it. I guess it depends if you're a "food adventurer" or not :rotfl2:. I prefer the "down home" cooking of Prime Time.

We like this restaurant. DD8 loves this restaurant. It is her absolute favourite restaurant at Disney World. We had dinning plan and have eaten at CRT, BOG, etc., and Coral Reef is her absolute favourite!!

She told me that she thinks it is very fun to sit next to the fish tank to eat. It's a kid's perspective. We sat once right at the tank and once at the semi-circle table facing the tank. Just happened to be that way, we didn't request it.

I think you can request upon check in at the restaurant (it doesn't hurt to ask, I reckon), but maybe it will take longer to wait for such a table.
