I was wondering if anyone has had the Lobster sandwich, salad and soup for lunch at Coral Reef and how was it?

We are thinking of going there for lunch on our trip.

TIA

I had it this past September and it was very good. The lobster was fresh but it did have a lot of 'stuff' going on with it...quite a few spices and lots of crunchy celery. I am from New England so I prefer my lobster 'naked' :rotfl: but I liked it. The soup that comes with it (creamy lobster i think:confused3 ) was also very good but the portion was sort of small. Between the sandwhich and soup it made a nice lunch. HTH!

I had it. Its o.k. if you are on the dining plan, but if you are paying oop you might find it a bad bargain for the money, also if you are a big eater you will find the portion definetely lacking. The salad itself is served on greens, there is only a small, portion of soup. I was told the soup is only really to be used to dip the bread in. You can only get about 3 tablespoons of soup out of the ramekin it is served in. The bread is very hard, hurt my teeth to chew it, but I have alot of caps in my mouth. The lobster salad itself was delicious. I definetely felt I needed dessert to feel full from the meal. I was wondering when after I ordered it that the server kept stressing to me it was a small portion and did I still want it even before she put the order in.

I loved this meal. As mentioned above the soup is small, but I liked to save some bread to dip in it because it was wonderful for that. Also, I thought the lobster salad was perfectly seasoned/prepared. One of the best lunch items I have ever had at DW.

P.S. I know they no longer include apps on the DP so it would be OOP, but the land and sea app here was the second fav of mine (after the muscles at Spoodles)

I was wondering this myself! I also have another question ... do they have bread/rolls on the table at lunch? DH will not eat any of the app's listed, but it will be my birthday meal so he is willing to forego appetizers that day. I just thought if they had bread he might be happier ....

No we aren't going to be on DDP, we would like to try some of the restaurants that we hear some much about here. And thought the lunch would be a better deal then dinner, but I am on the fence since it is oop and we are also on a budget.. not sure I will keep the ressie or not.. But thanks for all the feedback!
