Coral Reef - Diver/Menu - January 09

Has anyone else tried to set up a diver/personalized menu for January 09? I just called and spoke to Debbi at the Coral Reef and she told me they were not taking reservations for the diver for 09 at this time and that the diver was a promotion for the Year of a Million Dreams. She gave me her email addy and basically told me to email her in December to see if there was anything else going on.

I used the Diver service Sept 2007 as a surprise to my husband on our honeymoon. It was Great!! (Except for the fact that they made a typo on the banner) I can't remember who I spoke to at the Coral Reef at the time, but they were very helpful and they did tell me at the time that there are a limited number of dives a day for the free banners.

Hmm this is interesting. I had a feeling the diver thing would not last forever, especially with how popular it's gotten on here. Is she still going to do the menu for you?

I also wondered if such a great free sevice would continue indefinitely,so I am not at all surprised about this.I think they have been doing it for several years,but evidently it has SKYROCKETED in popularity and may have just become too much for Debbi and the staff to deal with.I am SO glad that I will be able to enjoy this perk on my Birthday later this month!

She gave me her email and said to check back with her in December but made no mention to the menu, even though I asked about both the diver and menu. I figure I'll email her later in the summer about the menu. I am just bummed because this was the main reason we chose to eat there.

I'm sad to hear about this. I was hoping to get the diver and menues for my 20th anniversary next year. Oh well at least I have it all set my our birthday trip next month. I guess things change. My DD was 4 years old on her first visit to the world, she'll be 18 this year! Does anyone remember the wonderful charactor breakfast CR use to have? A room with with balloons, bubbles and lots of characters...and a diver, named Mickey.
