Copying to Computer

Hi my girlfriend is just wondering does anybody know how to copy a DVD to her computer so she can copy it to other DVD discs? It is a DVD of her montessori classes school play and she would like to give a copy to each one of the parents. Don't worry the lady who filmed it and gave her the DVD of it said it was ok to do so Any ideas on what program could be used to do this prefferably free.

do you have software to burn dvds? i think mine ( nero something or other) has a setting to copy dvds so you might want to check yours out .

I'd recommend ImgBurn, it's free and very good. First, "Read" an image of the DVD to your hard drive, then "Write" it out onto a blank disc.

Since you will have an image on the hard drive, it's pretty easy to burn multiple copies.

and I am sure you can save the "project" so you can burn a few one day then go right back to burning them another day.
