Copying FP+ reservations

I've been looking around but can't seem to find it anywhere . I will be at 60 days in a few weeks. We are going with friends, and since we all love the same rides (except for DH), we are planning to do a copy FP. My friend and I are linked, and I manage DH and DS, and she manages her daughter.

When we plan to copy, I assume one of us makes reservations. How do we copy them to each other? Is there a link that comes up, or a prompt? And I have seen everybody using all ways to access MDE to set these up. What seems to work best? Until now, I have used the web site except when I opened the app on my phone to scan our tickets.

I guess once we copy each other, then I just open up DH and set up the rides he will ride instead of the fast ones we like

Any help would be appreciated! People say they copy, and it may be very simple, but want to make sure I know exactly what I am doing when I sit down to do it . Right now, I know to select general times, then go in and change those. But haven't seen any of this yet, so a little lost...

I used the MDE app on my iPhone to do this.

I made FP+ selections for my daughter only as I was unable to link DH and my renewed APs.

Later, after two hours on the phone with MDE's IT, our renewed APs showed up as linked.

Then, I chose FP+ from the MDE menu, selected the date, selected "Copy existing FP+ selections from one party to another."

Next, I selected my daughter's icon to "copy from" and on the next screen selected myself and DH as the "copy to" parties.

I did this for each of the 4 days we were staying.


Good luck! It should be easy...but MDE is often temperamental!

So it sounds like it will show up when we go in to make our reservations. Like you described, it doesn't sound too complicated.
