Copper Creek studio
How do you know if you have a walk in shower or a tub & shower when you reserve a CC Studio ?

David's has it for $300 per night
WDW has it for $477 per night
That is a $177 difference

Which is safer to reserve with ?
How can we get a woods view or NOT a view of the main WL pool ?

We want to be in the main WL hotel - n=more food options for us and also the laundry is in the WL hotel

All CCV rooms are in the main WL building.

Room requests are just that...requests. There is no guarantee of what you will see from your balcony.

DVC members make their reservation for a tub studio or walk-in shower at the time that they make the reservation because those are booking categories. If you're renting and have a strong preference for one over the other, then state your preference before putting in the rental request. It would be very difficult or impossible to change it after the room has been booked. Beyond that, you get the same type of room whether you rent or book through Disney. There are no studios that are reserved for use by Disney only.

Book through Disney and you will have to pay overnight parking at the resort. DVC rentals get free overnight parking. If daily housekeeping returns, you will get it if you book with Disney but not by renting. Disney has a more flexible cancellation policy. David's is so rigid (no refunds) and is so very unfriendly to owners that I refuse to deal with him.

You need to ask. Showers & Tubs are separate booking categories.

David's option sounds like CCV, but WDW could be either CCC or BRV.

View is just a request. No way to guarantee it.

All CCV studios are in the Main Building. AFAIK, BRV building also has laundry facilities. Guests there do not have to go to the main building to access a laundry. As far as food options go, it's a very short walk (via covered walkway) from the BRV building to the main building

The main differences are cancellation policies (WDW is more friendly) and housekeeping (DVC is limited).

As stated above, CCV has 2 types of bookable studios. A deluxe studio (plain, with no mentioning of a tub or a shower) will have the tub. A deluxe studio with walk-in shower is the other category. So the walk in shower is specifically mentioned - if you don't see it, you have the tub. Also, I will tell you that nearly all deluxe studios that come with a tub are on the ground floor. If you prefer a higher floor, you really want the walk-in shower. If booking through Disney (DVC or Disneyworld.com), you can book either category. If you are renting DVC points through David's or elsewhere, you need to let them know which type you want.

We would want a higher floor and a tub
So which is better ? CCV or BRV?
We want a bed - queen size is fine
Drawer space for our clothes
NO pull down bed - takes up drawer space
The microwave and refrigerator kitchenette is nice to have

A table on both sides of the bed would be nice to place our i-phones and other items

Which is the best for above ?
CCV (Copper Creek) or BRV (Boulder Ridge)

Higher floor is a request..no guarantee so chances for that are the same.

Both studios have a queen bed and pull out sofa…neither has been renovated to include the big pull down Murphy bed

BRV is older but does have the pull down twin under the TV so it will sleep 5. CCV does not have that as it only sleeps 4 but is much newer.

Both have the kitchenette. Havent stayed at CCV and BRV was years ago so can’t comment on side tables,

BRV has the tub only. CCV has some units with walk in shower but you book specifically If you don’t want that, then you make sure the room booked is one without it

We will try to reserve Copper Creek -- love the dresser with the woodies drawer pulls

We are just two oldie but goody DH & DW
Young at heart :earsgirl::earsboy:
One bed for us is great - we can use the couch for our luggage.
Just hoping for a quiet balcony :)

We stayed at the WL lodge with a bunk bed room pool view 10 years ago = loved the WL,
but the balcony heard noise from the pool early am to late evening
We never enjoyed the balcony - we should have booked a woods view - but we have pine tress in our backyard at home :)
