Copper Creek or Polynesian?

Another thing to consider: CCV studios are a lot smaller than Poly studios, but because almost half of the floor space in the Poly studios is taken up by the 2 bathrooms (another consideration) the bedroom space seems average.
Poly has the twin pulldown and the sofa is the new Murphy Bed. Kids could have separate beds.

We like both CCV and PVB resorts. Own at BLT and PVB.

You mention having two girls, something to think about in the coming years may be the bathroom situation. IF you think your daughters will eventually require more time to get ready in the morning, a benefit to PVB is the extra shower/sink area. Gives two places for showering, makeup, etc. It's the only studio with that situation. If that extra space is something you think you may need as your girls become teenagers, another thought would be BLT or AKV 1BRs where they have two full bathrooms.

Mentioning this because we had a trip with DW's family this summer. There were two teenage girls on the trip who are very much into makeup. They stayed in a BLT 2BR (so three full bathrooms). Even with the extra space, they were late every morning. Things would have been worse if they didn't have the extra bathroom in their unit.

In the end, my advice is to trust your own judgement on how you see your family vacationing over the next 5-10 years. Your family and habits will change over the years. Only you really know your family and what you enjoy most.

Based on the opinion of my 10 and 8 yr old kids I would go with Poly. Poly is our home resort and they absolutely love the pool (slide). We stayed at CCV in February and they were disappointed with the pool and slide. I was told we need to go back to the Poly. WL was great and we love going for breakfast at Whispering Canyon. Whichever you choose though, you'll be sure to make some amazing memories.
I appreciate your kids feedback. From the pictures, it looks like my kids may also be disappointed by the pool.

For Studios I would definitely go with Poly, with the location I think they are the best studios in DVC. Having said that I call the Poly "Grand Central Station", it's just so busy.. adding another tower would make me extremely nervous.

My kids were obsessed with spending time in the pools as kids. They would happily have spent all day in the pools at Disney, though their favorite at the time was Coronado Springs.

However, once they became teens, that changed, and being in the pool no longer mattered to them, and they were much more interested in having their own space than in swimming.

I mention this only because preferences will change over time.

While we admittedly have a lot of home resorts to give us flexibility - especially for Fall Frenzy periods - Wilderness Lodge and Animal Kingdom Lodge have remained favorites. They don’t like crowds, love animals still, and love quiet areas, and the lower point costs of BRV/CCV/AKV means it’s easier for us to “afford” 1BRs and 2BRs. That extra 3rd bathroom in AKV Kidani also means my kids each have their own bathroom, which they love. Their both boys, but my youngest likes long showers and my oldest just wants his own space. They still have to share a bedroom but they’re okay with that.

Of course, the oldest is about to leave for college, so things are changing again, and before we know it, my husband and I will be doing solo trips again. But for us, CCV and AKV are our favorite. But we do also own at Poly because those studios are great and we like to do a couple nights there from time to time. I’m holding out hope that the new tower will be the same association, as we’d love 1BR and 2BR options.

I know no one can truly predict how family dynamics will change. I never thought my kids would outgrow pools. But it’s worth considering what the future will bring — and also where you want to stay when the kids are grown and not with you.

As much as I love Poly, when your kids get a little older, you're likely to want more space than a studio. We have been able to get Poly at 7 months when we want it, but the 11 month priority is key for CCV.

I had been thinking it would be nice if did end being the same association but hadn't thought about how much busier it will make an already busy area....
