I'm doin' the 30 day dance here.

Plane reservations made; seat assignments checked.
Rental car reserved.
Resert reservations made; room preferences noted on the reservation.
One AP purchased/ voucher received.
Four 10 day MYW tickets purchased and received.
PS made for meals.
Know what days we are visiting what parks.
Know how we are getting to each park.
Mulling over touring plans...not quite final.
Have bought everyone enough clothes.
Have bought room organizing stuff.
Have packing lists made.
Mousekeeping envelopes ready.

Still need to:
Buy DS more shorts.
Check kids shoes.
Buy 2 new suitcases.

WHAT AM I FORGETTING????
Since I've been planning this trip for so long, I have this fear that some huge thing is going to slip through the cracks.
Do you study the show times on Steve Soare's web site to factor the show times into your touring plans?

Please tell me what I'm forgetting, or reassure me that I'm on track! :) (or do I just need a valium?)

Here are a couple more things I add to my to-do list:

* Mail hold at post office
* Call credit card company to inform of vacation (so they don't think we're fraudulent users in another state)

Make photocopies of your passes and take one copy with you (keep separate from your passes) and give one copy to a responsible person at home. This way in case you lose your passes, you are covered.

let's see...
:flower: i.d. for kids (in case they get lost... various types available or homemade is good)

:flower: sundries and meds (advil tylenol sunscreen shampoo deodorant etc)

:flower: entertainment for on the plane (gameboy cd player books magazines etc)

:flower: snacks and drinks for the airport/plane

:flower: money/travelers' checks/credit card

:flower: transfer points to disney reward card/bring reward card

:flower: fanny pack eyeglass string sunglasses tissues barettes ponies etc

:flower: pillow gifts for kids (mouse ears autograph book lanyard pin etc)

:flower: last but not least, a smile! 'cause YOU'RE GOING TO DISNEY WORLD!

made a list of what pressed pennies, pins, "toothpick holders" you have at home so you dont duplicate

MissyPie, today is my 30 day dance too!!! :cool1: but i havent done nearly half of what you have already done!!! i guess i better get moving!!!!!!! :rolleyes1

How about a Disney Dining Card? AP holders can purchase one for $50. If 4 of you eat very many sit-down meals, the 20% discount will add up fast.

I like to prepack whatever is holding our "stuff" for the parks. For us it's Safari /Photo vests, any kind of bag works, too. I go ahead and put in all of the little things that are for the parks, and make a little list of stuff we'll also need before we get there (ID's, resort key, camera) to add just as we're leaving. This way when we arrive we won't have to rush around gathering things with the risk of forgetting at the last minute. Arrival time is then less stressful and we can enjoy immediately. Have fun! :wizard:

It's on the way (forgot to list it before).

Do you have transportation from airport to disney and back arranged
I always save $1 & $5 bills for tips
rain ponchos

Sounds like you've covered most of the bases...I would just suggest something I include...a trip to the spa for a pedicure! It's my treat for all of the planning work and what a great way to start vacation! Your tootsies will love you!

That's funny that you mentioned a pedicure. I've been trying to figure out when DDs and I can schedule appointments. The weekend before our trip is "Dance Recital Weekend" where we're basically in the recital hall from noon-8 pm Saturday and Sunday. I'll have to check evening hours.

Just make sure you don't make the same mistake I did - silly me, I had my calluses softened up when I had a pedicure before my last trip (wanted to look good in sandals, after all), and my feet were SOOO sore during the trip! I had tons of blisters. This time I'll make sure to tell them to just make my toenails pretty, and leave the calluses alone - I need those! ;)
