Copies of Marriage Licence

We got married yesterday and our officiant said he would send our marriage licence back to the court house and it would be waiting for us when we get home to the UK. Can i ask how we go about getting copies of the licence please?

You need to order them from the courthouse where he sent your license. Might be worth doing now while you're still in the US, since the call will potentially be cheaper, although they may not have processed it before you leave.

Do you know if you can get it rushed? We'll want ours for our honeymoon in order to get a honeymoon package. If you get a rush, does any one know how long they take?

Our license didn't get sent to us until almost 3 weeks after the ceremony. We went on our honeymoon and came back and it still wasn't sent. We finally got it the end of the first week of July and we got married on June 14.
