Can someone tell me which song is currently being used in COP? Is it "Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow" or "Now Is The Best Time"?

I didn't know there was more than one, have only heard GBBT. I avoid the attraction as much as possible though, have been on it twice and once it stopped moving so we saw the same thing several times in a row before we got up and left in the middle.

i have heard an instrumental of now is the time in tomorrowland as well as in future world at epcot but that song has not been used in the attraction for over 20 years.

Two things... first when CoP first moved to WDW from DL, General Electric requested that the song be changed to reflect their desire to sell appliances now not tomorrow. Hence, Now is the time was the theme song. After GE dropped their sponsorship Disney put back GBBT as it was in the New York Worlds Fair in 1964, and has remained since then.

Second... The reason that you had to sit through it so many times was because a group of inconsiderate people, like yourself, got up and left before the show was over. Every time the door opens not only is it dangerous, but it automatically stops the ride and it has to recycle thus repeating performances. So you caused those that were considerate enough to stay on at least until a CM told them to leave to see the same scene again. I'm sure they all would have liked to discuss your actions with you in person. I'm sure that a number of announcements had been made by the CM's to remain seated so they could start the show up again, but, you decided that you were more important then the rest of the chumps on the ride and caused them even more delays. Good job.

Thanks so much for the replies! I knew I came to the right place! The CD we've been listening to has both songs listed for the attraction. I'll admit I have not been on the ride since the 80's... so that's why I wasn't sure... DS wanted to know which song he'd actually hear on the "real ride". DH is none too happy with me for teaching the kids both songs... They do tend to stay with you...
