COP-Just Noticed!

I know earlier in the week and last week that COP was listed as being closed for the entire month of November. Today when I look, I see that it is now listed as seasonal. If you click on each individual day it says seasonal and lists that particular date. I know it had been open lately and now I'm thrilled to see it will be open during our week. WOO HOO!!

I'm with you. We are coming in Dec. and COP is supposed to be closed for the whole month for refurbishment. What I'm really dissapointed about is that I have not seen this ride since I was a young girl at DL. They took it out years ago and I think they sent it to WDW. Anyways our family is making our first trip ever to WDW and I was looking forward to seeing it and having our children who are now grown to seeing it. I was even telling my husband how cool it was to be able to see it again and share something with the kids that they've never seen. And now I find out it won't be open!!! I'm sooo dissapointed!

PS I noticed that your daughters must dance. My oldest used to dance. (ALOT)!!! She is now almost 23. ( Where does the time go???)Anyways how fun for you to be able to see them dance at the MK. My daughter got to dance when she was in 8th grade at DL Paris. It was quite special. I miss that time in our lives. Have a great time and enjoy!!!

Good Grief!!!! I should have checked the calendar liked you said. It will be open for the dates we will be there. Yeah!!! Thanks for the info.

Looking at individual days on the November MK calendar, it appears that CoP will be open seasonally for the entire month. Now, who is to say what seasonally is? I'm thinking that based on what has been going on the last few months, Carousel will be open for November.

Thanks for the info, saw that it was going to be closed for Nov., told DH and kids who were disappointed but now I can tell them it will be open!~

I'm sure it will be good to see... but the 'future' modern period is quite laughable...all the applicances are so dated (1990's) and the big old clunky projection screen TV. Perhaps in their refurbishment they got into the 21st century and put stainless applicances, flat screens, etc... It looks about as dated as my kitchen which I hate!

I have always wanted to see COP, didn't do it our first trip and have been regretting it since! It was closed last year and calendar showing closed this year. I'm hoping that we will just happen to be there on a day when it opens unexpectedly.

Go to the disneyworld.com website and select parks, then MK. It will have a link to park hours. Once you see the November calendar, click on the individual dates (numbers) on the calendar. It will show you all events for that day. Then scroll down below that and you will see attractions in rehab or those listed seasonal. You should see CoP as seasonal for that date.

YAY...thanks for the heads up! I was so bummed it was scheduled to be closed. This is one of our sentimental favorite rides and now it looks like we will get to do it after all!
