I love COP and I just read it is going to be closed during our November visit. allearsnet.com has the info under rehabs for the month. :( My older DD will probably be happy though. I made her sit through it 6 times on her last WDW trip.

I'd be delighted if they really did rehab it. Our whole family loves the ride, but we're tired of getting stuck and seeing one segment 3 times in a row, or even watching the whole thing break down. And once, when we reached the end, the revolve didn't stop and we spun onward into the first segment--had to watch everything twice. These things need to be fixed.

I am with you! My DD and I tried to see it in Aug. and after about 7 attempts and only in the second room they shut it down and walked us off. Last Weekend my DW went on it while the DD and I did space mtn. and she said that most of the show was not working. The figures we talking but not moving anything but their lips. Just staring straight-ahead and kind of looking at the floor. Kind of Creepy My bet is that they are just closing it for low attendance. I don't think they could really fix all that needs to be fixed in only one month. Bur here's to hoping I'm Wrong.

On my recent last trip to the ride it seemed to work but there was only a few familys on it and there was not even a line i hope they can fix some of the problems it is a very fun ride.. when it works

FWIW.

I just got back on the 14th and it was open.

Of course we rode it.

BTW, it is amazing to see the number of people on the ride who sings along to "Its a great big beautiful tommorrow".

I also love COP!!!

Call me naive, but I believe that Disney wouldn't close it because isn't it the ride that kinda help start it all? Didn't Walt design it for the World's Fair?

It was open a couple of weeks ago, but some of the seats are broken. The attraction is in desperate need of repair.

It is due to be closed for refurb December 12-16 (reopening on December 17)...

It was open during this past (Thanksgiving) week.
