Has any had Joe De Matei? Any reviews?

and he was great! He promptly returned all of my phone calls and emails. I feel like he really "got" what we wanted in a Ceremony and Reception and I think our event is going to be very special because of his input.

I have Joe right now - he is awesome! As the previous poster said, he promptly returns calls and emails - sometimes even on weekends. He is also very mellow and (my favorite part) he takes all my requests in stride, even the crazy ones, and never makes me feel like I'm being Bridezilla.

I wish he could be my Wedding Coordinator too!

My daughter and I are having an initial meeting with a Disney planner next month. We have an appointment with Heidi. Is the person you meet on the first visit the one who is with you throughout? Does anyone know if you are permanently attached to a planner, or are you assigned someone when you actually book? I'm sure that all the Disney planners are good, but we want to make sure that we really connect with the person.

I had Joe as a coordinator and then had Celeste as my planner. They were both AMAZING and sooooo great to work with. You do get one planner, and you are with them the whole time. They don't switch you unless there are unforseen circumstances. Our original planner switched jobs about 3 months before the wedding, so we ended up with Celeste, but she was GREAT!

Just to clarify - the first person you are assigned - in my case, Joe - is with you the whole time but is not your wedding planner. That's a second person who does the actual event managing stuff. Joe does the sales/contract stuff.
