I'm planning on visiting friends at CSR one evening while I am at Disney. No car this trip, I'm relying on the Disney buses. I'll need to go from CSR to ASMu via Disney Springs to get back to my room. How late will the buses run? What are my options if I get to DS after the last bus has gone to ASMu? (I don't have a cell phone so calling Uber/Lyft isn't an option.) Is the bus stop staffed by CMs who can help if one is stranded? (I don't mean hours and hours late, just 10 minutes or something).

@leebee: Check out All Ears: https://allears.net/walt-disney-wor...om Disney Resorts to,not the other way around.

They say that buses from DS stop running at 1 a.m. Another option for you would be to take a bus to whatever park is open latest that night, then switching to a bus to ASMu.

But . . . you don't have a cell phone? There are very cheap smart phone options out there. No need to have an expensive phone or a pricey contract.

You're traveling alone to a place where a smart phone is practically a necessity. Please consider getting one before your trip.

CSR and the All Stars are practically right next to each other; Disney Springs is square on the other side of property. You’re going to go that far out of the way just to save a few bucks? Have Bell Services call you a cab. It’ll be a 5 minute ride rather than 25 minutes across property each way.

This is not a bad option, especially since Hollywood Studios in in between ASMu and CSR. Epcot wouldn't be too bad, either. (You would be far less likely to be stranded at a theme park than at Disney Springs!)
Hollywood Studios is not between those two resorts; the resorts are adjacent.

Disney Springs buses stop running at 12:30 exactly on certain nights.
Interesting. Frankly, I'm against the DS idea anyway, since a person can wait for forever for a bus there. If bus is the only option (i.e., cabs are out, for whatever reason), then I think going to DHS and switching is probably the best way to do this. Assuming DHS is open late enough for the OP's purposes.

@leebee, if your friend uses Uber or Lyft, they can get one for you from what I understand. But if you’re going with a bus, I’d plan to be waiting for a bus about half hour before Studios closes. I wouldn’t want try to get there after the park is closed. I think you’d risk a driver saying the park is closed & direct you to Springs for a bus to your resort.

You read my mind. Go to WM and get a cheap flip phone and a tracfone card for a month. I'll feel safer for you!!

Yes and one other thing for OP to think about is once the park closes, transportation will not take you unless your vehicle is parked there.
