What's the coolest thing you've ever done at WDW?

For me, I got to participate in the World's Largest Bunny Hop. I remember each participant got a badge (lost mine sadly) and we were in the Guiness Book of Records (not us personally, but the whole crowd). It was pretty awesome, but it looked like Guinness wasn't that hard to please as we only had to do it for about 80 seconds to get the record. It was about 3 minutes or so with the TV. :rotfl2:

Sadly, when I got back home to tape it and I went to church and tape it, the tape got messed up and I couldn't see if I made it on TV. :confused3 May do a Yahoo Video search and see if its archived somewhere..

Anyway, it was still pretty cool. I want to hear your stories now!! :cool1:

That is cool!

I'd say the coolest thing we've done is the KTTK tour- our guide Rae was amazing and showed us so much cool stuff. I still talk about it all the time.

In HDDR performance,Monster Sound Show(Chevy Chase version),Indiana Jones Show, got to play Al in the Super Star TV Show which were all fun.My best experience was meeting Roy Disney at AK and speak with him for about 5 minutes,a very nice man.

Mine was marching in the MK parade with my high school band. We were taken behind the scenes, right past the Jungle Cruise area to get to the parade start because we marched up Main Street (in the same direction as Spectromagic) At the end we crossed a hill in Frontierland to a backstage area. I remember being told that no pictures were allowed in that area because the characters would be taking off their heads!!!!! :earseek:

For me, it was marching in the Star Wars Weekends parade as a Stormtrooper and also doing the Dolphins in Depth at Epcot as it was my dream to simply touch a dolphin.

Dolphins ni Depth was also the coolest experience for my husband. He also did have fun playing Al from Home Improvement at MGM.

The Wishes Cruise was probably the coolest thing I've done...soooo wonderful. A close second was my kids getting picked as Chef's of the Day at the Liberty Inn in Epcot.

meeting Ranger Stan and having the pleasure of raising the flags on top of the Wilderness Lodge w/him back in Oct 01

We got married there! And in the same trip we were in a show at MGM and the AK parade!

Did the Dolphins In Depth at EPCOT. Best $150 I ever spent - had always wanted to swim with them but never would spend the money. My DH finally made me and I'm so glad I did.

Also was at MK on NYE one year. Nothing like counting down to midnight with Mickey and watching fireworks over the castle and turning around toward the exit and seeing them over EPCOT too.

We were the Grand Marshals in the Stars and Motor Cars Parade :)

riding in front of monorail

"private" talk with Crush (for DD and DS) after Turtle Talk

i would have to say the aqua seas tour. swimming inside the living seas was such a great experience, :cool1: , it is now a must every year.

my second would have to be getting in the hot seat 3 times in 1 day, too bad i could only get on once.

Like paras4ri, I marched in the parade but with my college band (Syracuse) two days before the Hall of Fame Bowl.

I liked it so much, I came back to work there right after graduation. Being a CM was pretty darn cool! But I can top that...

I was proposed to during the MK fireworks -- and accepted, of course!

Once we timed our ride on the Skyride just as the evening fireworks went off. We were going from Fantasyland to Tomorrowland and the fireworks were right over 20,000 leagues as we crossed in front of them. DD, who was 4, had a great first day in the MK.

me & my fiance did the dolphins in depth & backstage safari tours which were just awesome. i also danced with the bellydancer at dinner at restaurant marrakesh. and we're getting married at wdw march 21st 2006!

Some great stories so far! :cool1:

For us it would be,
-My dad was the Veteran of the Day at the MK and was a part of the flag retreat ceremoney.
-My daughter woke up Tink at Tinkerbelle's Treasures.
-Going on a WISHES cruise.

There are so many wonderful and "cool" memories for us, but these are just a few. :teeth: :wizard:

I don't know if you would classify it as cool, but back in 97 I spent 10 days at WDW. During the 10 days I marched in a parade with some friends at the MK and was in the Indiana Jones show at MGM. What was the coolest part, however, was the bill at the end. The 10 days, including airfare, hotel, tickets, food, souveniers, etc., cost less than $800. Now that's cool. pirate:

34 years of trips . . . more magical moments and memories than I can count . . . and (hands down!) our "coolest" experience at WDW was the SEGWAY TOUR we just took on our last trip in Jan. on DSs 16th birthday!! :smooth:
