Ive read about people taking coolers in the parks, can you really legally do this? If so that is great. Can you only take water or can you take soft drinks? Thanks a ton all you experts!:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

As long as it can be carried by one person you can take a cooler into the park (but you can not bring alcohol or glass bottles). It can not be so big or so heavy that it requires 2 people to carry.

I've always brought a soft-sided cooler that fits down in the basket of the stroller. It makes life so much easier because the kids stay thirsty all day. Security will check it to make sure nothing is being brought in that shouldn't be. I also will bring snacks in our backpack.

I remember our first trip I had packed a small bag of Cheetos for my daughter. When I saw the security folks, I was so worried they were going to stop me. My husband was cracking up. "Honey, Relax!! They aren't looking for Cheetos!" I was still so nervous until I got through the gate and saw this guy in front who had already come through the gate himself with a cooler on wheels!

Thanks so much for the answers.

kbkids...that sounds like me....I worried two years ago about bottles of water. My husband looked at me and said "Im glad you are not taking in a PBJ sandwich youd be a nervous wreck." Im glad to hear this about the coolers cause with two DDs (5 and 9) we spend a fortune just on soft drinks. Thanks a ton to all of you who always answer all of my 100 Q's!:flower1: :flower1: :flower1: :flower1: :flower1:
