Could someone please help unconfuse me?!?!?! We have cruised DCL before, but didn't even think of bringing a cooler. I have read a lot about people bringing coolers with beer, water, soft drinks, etc... My sister-in-law and I decided we would do the same for our families. While reading through our documents yesterday, it was very clear, No Coolers with outside food or drinks should be checked in.

What does that mean? How are you getting your coolers and/or drinks onto the ship legally?

THANKS!! :flower:

Soft sided coolers that will fit thru the scanners are fine. They do not care if you bring sodas, beer or wine. We brought 6 bottles of wine in our backpack and they had no problem with that. You can bring packaged snacks, but we find there is so much food available free, or included as some say, that we have no need for extra snacks. Room service fruit, cookies or mickey bars or deck 9.

Thanks! That clarification has unconfused me! :sunny: I'm off to get a softsided cooler.....
