Hi, some people have suggested taking a cooler to WDW with snacks/drinks/sandwiches. I thought you couldnt bring outside food/drinks in the park? And dont they check all your bags? Does anyone know? I'd hate to take them and then not be allowed to take the cooler in the park. Let me know your experiences, especially if there are any bad ones.

I believe you are allowed to bring in a SOFT cooler, but I'm sure a brilliant person on here will know more about it! If you go to www.disneyworld.com I'm sure you'll find some info. Or maybe the all ears site.

Good luck, and have a great trip!!!!

The last two trips I have brought in snacks and a soft cooler with bottled water and no one has ever even looked twice. Seemed as though many people had the same idea and I never saw anyone have a problem getting through. I don't think they would allow a rolling cooler on wheels but a small soft pack doesn't seem to be an issue.

At DLR we can bring in small soft sided coolers but not the hard coolers. If you've got snacks that will fit in the soft sided coolers you'll be find bringing them in.

We've brought a big soft sided cooler (like the square 'cube' kind - not just the little 6 pack size) with drinks, fruit, snacks, sandwiches, cold pizza, the works!!!

Yes, the security people look inside it to make sure there are no class conatiners. But they usually comment on 'yummm....nice looking lunch' or similar.

You will not be turned away.
