Cool, we get a little tapestry to keep!

From the DVC email newsletter today:



"The "village tapestry," inspired by ceremonial robes that record the legacy of African kings and queens, will honor the each of the founding Member families of Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas. In addition to being represented on the work of art at the Resort, each Member family will receive a representation of the tapestry for display at home as a keepsake of their place in Disney history."

I'm happy that I'm a founding member of AKV!

Do we get a village robe?

We could probably decide as a group what we wanted to be the DIS AKV robe and all buy one accordingly. Only founding members though, of course. And Greenban would have to have a special robe, I think.

Maybe I am just being weird but when I read "a representation of the tapestry" in the Vacation Magic email today my first thought was we would get a picture of it - like a lytho but not an actual mini version. I sure hope I am wrong and you are right!!

Good point. My first thought was that greenban was correct in one of his very early posts in that we'd get a small version of the larger tapestry. But it COULD be a picture of it, I suppose.

I have a huge feeling we are all going to get a print. I would love though to have a tapestry.
