Tell us more about the Culinary Experience for Kids. Is it free? Which restaurants are included? How old do the children need to be/ I tried to do a search, but couldn't get it to work.

It has always been my fantasy to be chosen for this pixiedust: . Does anyone know how they choose a family? Pick me! Pick me!

I want to add to not miss the street performers at the Boardwalk. We were coming back to BWV one night after being at Epcot all day. We were tired and just planned to go to our room. A comedian/magician was performing in front of Spoodles. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: He was AWESOME!!!!!! We ended up buying a slice of pizza and sitting and watching him.

This is not really too secret, but my family loves renting one of the pontoon boats and just cruising around one of the lakes or canals. On our latest trip with our best friends we just sat back and the kids were having a blast running around the pontoon boat. Obviously we were watching them, but with the high railings and them being small, things were under control.

The boats don't go fast, so it forces you to just sloooooooow down. It is a great way to check out other resorts as well. We took ours out from OKW and were able to check out POFQ & PORS (?, I don't remember the abbr for Riverside :confused3 ) and also SSR, the Treehouses and DTD all on the same trip.

CAN"T WAIT TO HEAR MORE!!! Always looking for ideas to make a MAGICAL pixiedust: place even more MAGICAL pixiedust:

The free 1/2 hour guided tour of Morocco in Epcot. It's currently given twice a day, at 1:00 and 3:00. Sign up at the Kidcot area (I don't remember the exact place-anyone can direct you). I've done it twice, once we signed up about 20 minutes beforehand, and we were the only ones on the tour.

Some of you may have done this-- but i was reading on another thread about doing the morning "rope drop" at MK.....sounds fun...if you like to wake up early..... :rotfl:

and then there is "waking up tinkerbell in the morning" at the MK....this is an answer i got when i asked what it was .....

To wake tinkerbelle you need to be the first person to the store "tinkerbelles treasures" and to then be the first to ask to wake tink up. Theres a ceremony done and then you can see tink "flying" in the store for the rest of the day. Im afraid i have never done this so i cant tell you exactly what happens though

COOL!

There is a square dance in the street in Frontierland in the afternoons. This may be on the "time sheet"; I'm not sure because I haven't glanced at one in a while. In this square dance, characters (several country bears, Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, maybe others) and CMs interact with the crowd. My kids got to dance with the characters and they had a blast.

I don't know if it's overlooked but I like that fountain at Epcot in Future world. The one that dances to music. That's one of my favorite things at Epcot because it's something cool to watch when you need to rest or something.

Last time we were there we rented canoes and paddled about the wilderness area. Very relaxing.

Also, we got the hidden Mickey book and had a blast searching for them everywhere. There was one at the Wilderness Lodge up on one of the quest floors that we just COULD NOT find. We kept going back to guest services and asking for help. She finally had to say it is in the pole across from room (forget the number). It was in plain view we just hadn't gone far enough. Very fun though my DH is hooked.

Also, I am determined to find the talking garbage can at Epcot if it is still there on our next trip. And keep your fingers crossed we get to be a flag family some morning at WL.

Finally, definitely have someone get their hair cut on Main Street at MK. They put confetti in your hair (they even got me with the confetti even though it was DH getting the cut). And they put a Mickey in sparkly gel on the back of the head.

Strolling, really strolling, through the gardens in front of the castle. There are benches tucked away, and bunnies everywhere. Usually not that many people and great shots of the castle. Also, down one of the side streets just off Main Street in MK there is a flower cart. Our family has numerous pictures there... it is always quiet and very pretty down there. (I believe someone else pointed that out as well)
