the new cameras are being announced. This new sony has some cool stuff in a small box, not that cutting edge is worth the money in most cases, but it is a sign of what is coming.

I'm still looking to replace our camera.....and I was ALMOST sold on this one.....until I saw the storage was a memory stick.

ALOT of nice stuff in that camera....and great size & design!!

doesn't look like it takes advantage of the faster speed stick capabilities
Ok TC bleading edge and I'm not lining up to get one but it is cool.

I gotta tell you all. I work in the industry (audio/video etc) Sony is FAMOUS for launching the coolest bigger (in this case smaller) better faster more products, and in the 9-12 months following the price decreases as newer technology is launched.

It is a very very cool little cam. Memory stick media does not scare me off, since I can buy them through work at a slight discount, but I can see where it could be a pain, since it is so proprietary.

..talking about cameras,can someone reccommend a decent
camcorder for an amateur user. I will be using the camera at dog shows(...and Disney,of course!!). I need something easy to use. I'd like to be able to see it on my TV and my computer. Also I'd like to be able to freeze a frame and print it out. Do I need to spend $700 for these features?Any suggestions would be great!
