Cool inexpensive light up stuff for kids

Go to www.orientaltrading.com . In the Deep Discount section, look under Toys and Novelties. They have these cool looking Smile faces Galaxy things. It's a fiber optic thing that lights up. They are disocunted to 4.95 per DOZEN!. They run on batteries. I thought they'd be cool for parades.

I also saw some glow things but did not look them up to see what they were.

Found yesterday at Wal-Mart battery operated glow sticks. You can turn them on and off as needed and they last between 24-36 hours. So if you don't use them often, they will (hopefully) last a long time.

They cost $2.56 IIRC. I think the batteries are sealed and non-replaceable, but at that cost, who cares. They also come with an attatchable strap so you could wear it around your neck.

My DH found himself a cool inexpensive light up mouthpiece to wear around WDW at night, and he has lots of fun with it! He got it at a gas station for around $3. So, yeah, that guy you see walking around Epcot at night with the light-up teeth is mine. Sorry, girls.

My kids use those fiber optic wands when they go on a dark ride so they don't get to scared.

I use Oriental Trading Company as well. I have ordered quite a variety of light-up necklaces and bracelets. For the price of one or two at the park, I received a dozen.
Also, I ordered light-up fans, and fans that spray. They are compact and convenient and INEXPENSIVE.
I also ordered bubble rings and small bubble items. When the kids are bored, these are great.
I highly recommend browsing through the website for goodies.
