Well, it's always good to hear others say something good about your latest purchase...and here is my small story. We recently purchased a Nikon D60 w/ the lens kit. I had done a little internet homework on it and like everything else, I read good and not so good about it, but then I read the same stuff about some of the others in my price range...so I made an executive decision and got the D60. We took it to WDW this past week and when the Photo Pass photogs used mine to take our pic, lots of them said that they liked the D60 and that it was an easy camera to use. I even got some good feed back from a cashier at AK about it. Now, they could have been blowing smoke for all I know, but I do know that the Photo Pass uses the D70s. So they are from the same family at least and I know those guys use all types of cameras to take personal pics of families. And btw, those Photo Pass guys are just great at accomodating different poses and requests not just for the photo pass pics, but for personal pics also, so go ahead and ask and don't be shy...my wife thought I was crazy for some of the "magic" pics they take at the parks...
