We (family of four) are planning on staying in an AOA suite. Last time we did Disney we stayed at Bonnet Creek and had a full kitchen.
Having just a very small freezer and a microwave is certainly limiting our plans for dining in the room for some lunches and some dinners.
I would love to hear any recipes/suggestions others have on how to make the most of cooking at AOA. Its been a long time since I've done any "dorm room style" cooking!
My goal is to just grocery shop once, so I am looking at more canned/shelf stable type things than usual. Things aren't really as healthy as we would normally do either
This is what I've come up with so far:
Nachos (topped with canned refried beans, grated cheese and onions/tomatoes/olives)
Quesadilla: made with canned black beans and shredded cheese
Rotisserie Chicken
Baked Potatoes topped with broccoli and cheese
Kraft Mac and Cheese Bowls
Charcuterie plate: summer sausage, cubed cheese, crackers and fruit
Canned Soup
Eggs and pre-cooked frozen sausage
Oatmeal and Cereal
Deli Meat and sandwich fixings
