I know the Disney Institute no longer exists-- but does WDW offer cooking classes at any of the resorts? DH & I will be at WDW with my parents on Mother's day next year... I know she would really enjoy some type of cooking class...

My 2nd choice would be a trip to a spa... any suggestions on treatments? And how much does it cost?

TIA!

I don't know about cooking classes, but I too am looking into spa treatments for my June honeymoon in WDW. I don't know how much they cost, but I did read on another thread that you can get a 15% discount off Water Therapy or body treatments (massage, facial and hand and food treatments excluded; age restrictions apply) at WDW Grand Floridian Spa and Saratoga Springs Spa. Not sure if you have AAA, but if you do then this might be helpful info!

the only cooking class i know of at present is for young kids at the gf, i miss the disney institute.

as for spa treatments check out http://www.relaxedyet.com all the disney spa's are run by niki bryan & you can view the treatments, prices & locations on that site. i personally like the swedish massage, citrus hydro treatment, the facial, mani & pedi combo, my fi likes the deep tissue massage, we go every trip. we prefer the grand floridian spa for their larger facilities than some of the other resort spa/healthclub combos, i have yet to try saratoga springs but have heard good things about there too. if youre a dvc or annual pass holder there is a discount on treatments.

have fun!
