Cookies Creep Me Out

So I've noticed the targeted ads on the Dis before. I understand why they are there. I get it. But today I think I will delete my cookies. Yesterday my daughter and I visited Sephora and I found a few esoteric perfumes that I liked. When we got home I researched them a little bit to see if I could find them more cheaply somewhere else. I have noticed not just a perfume ad when I am surfing here, but those exact three perfumes showing up in my banner ads. It is weirding me out. Big brother has been watching me. Good thing I wasn't researching something illegal or kinky. :rotfl2:

Big Brother is watching..... Poke him in the eye with this http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/

CCleaner is a freeware system optimization, privacy and cleaning tool. It removes unused files from your system - allowing Windows to run faster and freeing up valuable hard disk space. It also cleans traces of your online activities such as your Internet history. Additionally it contains a fully featured registry cleaner. But the best part is that it's fast (normally taking less than a second to run) and contains NO Spyware or Adware! :)

I really like the ability to place the cookies you want, for ease of sign ins, in a "keep" file. Ccleaner removes the rest of them.

Also, if you use Firefox, it has an add-on called Adblock Plus, it will block all the banners & ads on websites from appearing = faster browsing.

If you have a Mac, they block pop up windows, too. And you can set your browser to only accept cookies from sites you travel to.
