Has anyone tried Cooke's of Dublin and can you tell me if you liked it and if you can get their easily from Epcot. We will be on the DDP.

{Bump}...We ate there this past summer and loved it. The Fish and Chips were so much better than the ones at Yorkshire Fish shop in Epcot. They also have other items including deep fried candy bars. Cooke's is located in Downtown Disney... :thumbsup2

You would need to take a bus to Downtown Disney from Epcot. If I remember right, they do not do park-DTD buses anymore due to people that were parking at DTD and then taking the buses to the parks to avoid parking fees. You now have to take a bus to a resort and then wait at the resort for a Downtown Disney bus. You can confirm that once you arrive.

Cooke's of Dublin is located on Pleasure Island, which is part of Downtown Disney. I hope you take some time to visit DTD anyways and it would be a great place to eat at while there ;)

We enjoyed it and found the portions large and fish yummy. It is downtown disney so not really east from Epcot. There is another fish & chips place in UK section of Epcot though.

You can walk to one of the Epcot resorts and take the bus there. We did that yesterday to go to Earl of Sandwich, as we often do. I have been to Cookes once or twice and liked it (but it's more calories than I usually need).

Wow...we had the exact opposite experience when we tried Cooke's. It was so crowded it took forever to get our order, and the fish was extremely greasy (as in dripping!). I think they were just cooking the fish as fast as they could because of the number of people waiting and the quality was slightly compromised. So I say give it a try, unless there is a long line.

We were there in May and thought it was just okay. Certainly not as good as the fish in Epcot. It was kind of soft and mushy. Also, the shop itself had a really nasty odor to it, like dirty socks, like the carpet was mildewed. Also we had DDE and they rang it up as DDP even though I told them clearly what it was when I ordered and even showed them my card, and it took them a really long time to straighten it out. Not a great experience, and we won't go back. But, the fried candy bars were pretty good.
