Does anybody know a budget friendly and clean hotel or motel to stay for a week? Looking in the Conway or Bartlett area. Thanks for any info.

There are a bunch of places on Route 16 in North Conway, near the outlets. If you're looking for a chain type place, there's a Comfort Inn, a Hampton Inn, and a Holiday Inn. If you're looking for a more independent, motel type place, there are lots. Off the top of my head, some of them are: Schoolhouse Motel, North Conway Motor Inn, Golden Gables Inn, Colonial Motel, Briarcliff Motel, Green Granite and White Trellis.

Check out this website:

We've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in North Conway. I stay at that chain whenever possible. They include a nice hot breakfast buffet too compared to Comfort Inns cold small breakfast.

We've also stayed at a pricier hotel years ago. Red Jacket Mountain View. Our room was horribly outdated & worn and it was a "nicer" mountain view room. The indoor pool area even seemed old. I wouldn't stay there again unless everything was done over by now. The hallways & stairs were all odd. Like as if they just kept adding on & adding on. I looked really nice from the outside from the road.

I just looked at their website. The rooms look way nicer than I remember. And from the aerial photo, it appears they've done even more building & expanding. I don't recall if it was a Best Western when we stayed there or not. It could have been because we did used to stay at that chain.

I've stayed at the Holiday Inn and the Red Jacket too. The Red Jacket just redid all the rooms and put in an indoor waterpark. I actually prefer the Hampton Inn. It's brand new.

We're staying at the Hampton Inn next week. Who is traveling? For DH and I we prefer some of the other smaller hotels and inns, but when we take the kids, we find the Hampton Inn to really suit our needs.
I LOVE N. Conway!

I have stayed at the Comfort Inn and found it very clean. In fact I am staying there again over Feb vacation.
The Red Jacket is very expensive and if you want to use the water park you have to pay a hefty price. Not budget for sure!

Not sure if its your thing, but there are quite a few old fashion bed and breakfast places in that area.....just a thought.

We go up there every summer on our StoryLand/Clarks trip, and we always stay at the Comfort Inn in North Conway ( http://www.comfortinn.com/hotel-north_conway-new_hampshire-NH012/Hotel-Photos ) . It is next to the Pirate's Cove Mini-Golf. They have a nice breakfast included in the price (with the yummy make them yourself waffles!). The rooms are what they call a 'suite' but its not really a suite: there is an archway with a half wall dividing the 'bedroom' from the living room area, and the 'kitchen' is a sink, a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. It is very clean. I think we usually pay somewhere around $140 - $150 per night.
