Convince me...

We are die hard WDW fans...been over 40 times to the WDW with the kids, without the kids, for our honeymoon, and just recently for our 25th anniversary.

As much as I am addicted to WDW, once I discovered the cruise (way back in July of '98) that is what I live for....I am happy to go the parks AS LONG AS I CAN FIT A CRUISE IN THERE AS WELL!!!

We just completed our 11th DCL cruise two weeks ago and I already want to sail again...it becomes very addictive....it feels like home when you sail repeatedly....it is a much more personal feeling and you get to really know so many of the staff onboard....they are truly happy to see return guests and that has rarely happened to us at WDW!!!

Go and enjoy!!

I'm a WDW lover. Went 3 times in 4 years and don't even live close to Florida.

When it came time for my wife and my honeymoon, I wanted to do Disney and she was tired of it --wanted nothing to do with it.

We agreed upon the cruise as a compromise (and let me tell you, they're right when they tell you planning the honeymoon can be more traumatic to your relationship than the wedding!).

We're now doing the cruise again as our 5th year anniversary, haven't been back to WDW since 2001 and I'm not at all upset --it was actually my idea.

We were aprehensive about the cruise at first, but like everyone else said --there's just something about it!

...Sheesh. That's awfully harsh. The OP was simply asking for advice and opinions. Just like most others here. I hope you don't attack EVERYONE on these boards who has questions...

Hardly, my response was a reaction to the way the OP phrased her post. "Convince me" is a command, it is not a question.

Then a discourse on why the parks are so great finishing up with "so here is your chance to convince me." As if those that prefer the cruise over the parks need to justify their opinion to the OP.

My response was merely to point out that the OP, in my opinion, was rather harsh in her post. Whether it was intentional or not is a completely different subject.

My vote is for both. My wife and I go to the parks first then do a 4 day cruise. Gives us a chance to relax on vacation. Because God knows I don't relax at WDW.
