Converting to a member PAP

I'm hoping someone could help us make a final decision. We currently bought 8 days parkhopper water parks and more passes and considering converting them at the park to the new member PAP. Is the exchange price they use the current price of the eight daY Park Hopper water parks and more passes? I know we have to use at least one day to lock in the price and if they use the current price it makes a lot more sense to convert to us.

Please let me know if this makes sense and I am correct

Provided you use the ticket once - as you stated - then your upgrade price will be:

new DVC AP or PAP price - current (on that day) gate price of the ticket you are holding
