Converting tickets from room package to APs?

Can that happen? I see it is not easy to book "room only" without going through a 3rd party or calling. And I am fine with the value that might come with booking the whole she-bang at once.

However, we do not live too far away from DLP and I wouldn't mind having an AP on the off chance we go again and that price-wise, a 3 day ticket isn't too much different from some of the AP tiers. Is it possible to convert them into an AP?

As @ColoradoK pointed out, you can no longer upgrade package tickets to AP.

You can only upgrade “1-day” tickets (which is why no package tickets qualify, as they are at least for 1 night, 2 days).
