Convert package reservation to tickets only?

Just curious if anyone knows if it is possible to drop the room portion of a package and keep the tIckets? we have rescheduled several times due to the pandemic. Now I’ve decided to make an offer on DVC by resale. obviously if it goes thru we will use those points for the room. Since I have already made payments on the package will Disney let me put that money towards just the tickets? I hate dealing with refunds.

No you can't just drop the room portion of a package. You will need separate tickets and have to deal with the refund process.

They can move deposits or partial payments between different package dates but not what you are looking for.
