Conversation with Lily in host room

I just wanted to share that I was just in her room for porter event.

While there I asked her politely if she knew why we were not told sooner about the quest ending early today. I told her that some might not have been on last night, had to work this morning-not checking the updated newsletter and thinking they could finish when they got home. I explained that i was not trying to complain, but that I just felt that we should have known from the beginning when it ended.

She told me that she had no control over it (which I knew) but fully agreed with me about letting us know sooner. She suggested that we all use the contact us button and let them know our thoughts. She said maybe if they receive enough complaints, they would have to listen.

I know it is of no comfort to those who did not finish but I just wanted to share. She is sad for all the people who were taken by surprise that it ended. She knows not everyone reads the discussion boards.

I did just that. I sent them a nice, long one, too. I sure hope someone actually takes the time to read the whole thing.

I did send in a complaint to contact as soon as it really ended at Noon. Sadly we feel that will be pointless and fall on deaf uncaring ears. Because of this, i did tell Lily when I got in the room with appologies that the time change was bad form. I did not belabor it or hang out or expect an answer. I feel bad but she is the live ears we have. It's the same in my work i get complaints out of my control all the time, when I hear it enough i pass it up the chain.
Lily, sorry they put you out there immediatly as a target.

I don't think we should be relying on post on the board rumors of when the quest would end and it was never updated untill today that it would end earlier then expected. WHo knew if it was a April fools joke we heard several conflicting times.

We knew the time frame we thought and based who we could get through and in what order. All but one of our original plan got through but several others helped near the end we had hoped to help.

Agreed. I think it's time that everyone realizes that the Black Hole is what it is, is not likely to change, and we need to go higher than just Contact Us. VMK makes the Disney company look like a complete joke more times than not lately, and I personally think higher ups would be interested in hearing just how cruddy the "Disney experience" often is in this game. The Hosts get the short end of the stick too because players know the chance of getting a response from Contact Us is slim, so they share their issues with the Hosts. Not a problem when done respectfully as y'all have, but I'd bet the farm some just go off on the Hosts about this. I'm just glad Lily is honest enough to speak her mind and not just tow the company line.

I'm so sorry to all who couldn't complete the quest. My mother never got it either (my dad had no interest in it). Ending it when they did was wrong; most people did not see a Host last night to tell them, and not everyone is a member of these forums to catch the news. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

Hogwash. That was junk.
