If you buy convention tickets that expire after the convention, don't use them at all, can you upgrade them for regular tickets with regular expiration dates?
I want to buy some gay days tickets, but there is a small chance that some people in our group won't be able to make the trip. Could we bring their tickets (unused) and change them to regular tickets? That way they can use them some time in the future.
I am not looking to save any money. I am not looking to add days. I am not trying to upgrade to an AP. I realize that there is a big price difference between the convention tickets and gate tickets. I just don't want to be out the money for the convention tickets if they do not get used.
The other alternative for me is to wait as long as possible before buying the convention tickets. That would give my friends a better sense of their schedule. Any idea if Gay Days tickets sell out? If so, how soon before the convention?
