Convention Tickets

We just found out that the company my husband is a franchisee for is having their annual convention in Orlando next year. Are convention tickets generally the same for any/all conventions? If so, what is the typical ticket? (how many days/prices, etc.) We attended their convention at WDW five years ago but at the time we had APs so I never took notice of what was offered for convention tickets.Thank you!

I'm not familiar with convention ticket pricing, but I know for most, it's an After 2/After 4 ticket (so entry only after 2 or 4 PM, depending on the ticket).


I think it might be a good deal for your DH (who will obviously be otherwise occupied during the day. But I'd probably break down and buy full price tix (or tix from UT) for everyone else

We had that option last year, but passed on it since we had the Give a Day tickets which was a better deal in the long run. The full day tickets were only a few dollars cheaper than full price, but the after 2 or after 4 options were nice for someone who just wanted to go for an evening.

We found that the convention tickets were a great deal! Any multi day ticket includes one visit to a waterpark or disneyquest. And the prices were significantly less. You can lookup the prices at www.disneyconventionears.com if you want to see the chart they have. You just have to put in the dates of your conference, not the name or any confirmation number.

This might be a dumb question but...are the convention tickets only offered for conventions held at WDW? Or does Disney work with other conventions? I was hoping the convention we are going to would be at Disney World but it will be at the Marriott World Center. Is there any chance of getting Disney convention tickets when offsite? We will be spending time at Disney after the convention is over, using our DVC points.

I purchases the after 4 tickets and park hopper while attending a conference at the MArriot World. I believe its set up by whoever is conducting the conference.
