Convention at CS

I am trying to choose between Riverside and Coronado Springs for our January vacation. After googling conventions at CS I see that there will be one there the entire week that we are! Has anybody else been there while one was going on? I guess I'm worried about the buses and being able to get a table to sit at!

Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks.

There is almost always something happening at CSR.
We've been there during conventions/tournaments (sometimes even as attendees), and the impact is not bad.

The Pepper Market and the little quick-grab market can get swamped at breakfast and lunch, but in the evenings it wasn't hard to manage.

The buses to the parks, etc, were hardly impacted at all - after all, most convention/tournament-goers are not heading out to the parks each day. There was a minor impact on buses to DTD in the evenings, is about all - folks heading over for some food/entertainment which doesn't require a ticket.

Likewise there was little or no impact on the main pool, as most of the time we are swimming in mid-afternoon and the conventioners are in the convention center.

I was there during a cheerleading ....thing.... awful! They arrived about 3 days into my trip. It was so peaceful until then! They were nice girls, but there was SO MANY of them that mayhem was unavoidable. PP is right...the Pepper Market got swamped at breakfast. Hopefully it's a nice quiet conference for you.
