We will be at Disneyland (Hojo's) for two nights before a cruise with no vehicle.

We will want to pick up some toiletries, snacks and bottles of wine to bring to the port with us. Will there be a grocery store or large convenince store that we could easily walk to to pick up these items?

Thanks

Nothing within easy walking distance. They HoJo itself has a nice gift shop with snacks and toiletries. I know they sell beer, but not sure about wine.

There is a small convenience store at the corner of Katella and Harbor on the NW side. It would be about a 25-30 minute walk from the HoJo.

Not sure if we're talking about the same store.. but there is a very decent market ABC Market -->>right next door<<-- to the Candy Cane Inn. I found it to be a reasonable walk for adults and reasonably priced. Next door to that, is a 7-11 as well. Not sure if you can get the ABC market on google maps, but you can definitely get the CCI and see if it's doable for you and your party.

"Walking distance" is different for everybody, but remember, you can always take a cab if need be. There's also a target about a mile up the road with a small grocery section.

HTH

Shop online at vons.com and have them deliver the groceries to HoJos! If your order is over $50 the delivery is free. :goodvibes

While at Hojo in March, I walked to the Starbucks (forgetting that there is a Seattles Best right across the street - DUH! moment!).

Anyway, if you go further down the road, on the right hand side, opposite direction of Disneyland, I know there is a Starbucks, plus, I believe, and AMPM or gas/mini mart. I think I remember seeing one. I believe it is just past both of the freeway exits and/or entrances. It is about a 10-15 minute max walk each way.

The walk was interesting for me (rush hour in the morning).

As other said, there is an ABC and 7-11 pretty close. I stayed at the Jolly Roger for the Expo and found those two stores to be a very quick walk. It took us 20 minutes at average walking speed to get from DTD to the Jolly Roger, so to the ABC and 7-11 shouldn't be more than 10-15. Of course, I don't know where Ho Jo's is in relation to that, but from DTD it's a very easy walk.

Something pretty close to Hojos is the Minni Mart at the Tropicana? I think that is the motel it is hooked on to. It is a small convenience store on the same side of the street as Hojos on the way to Disneyland you will pass it. Stop in to see if it will serve your needs. HTH!

Does the ABC Market or 7-11 next to the Candy Cane Inn sell crates of bottled water?

Thanks :thumbsup2

I am digging out this old post.....

We are going to DLR in early November . We will be staying at the Super 8 on Disneyland Drive. Does the AM/PM around the corner from Super 8 carry things like bread, yogurt, fruit?? How's the price there? We won't have a car. $50 of grocery from Vons just seems too much for a 3 night stay. So it would be great if we can get something from AM/PM.

Thank you!!!

OP,
The HoJo gift/sundry store does in fact carry a small selection of wine. We bought Barefoot wine there.
They have a small selection of toiletries
as well.
Also the 7-11 as other's have mentioned is a good choice. On Harbor and Katella.

Enjoy your cruise!
