I am need to buy a new range. I am seriously leaning towards convection. Please tell me all about yours. The good, the bad and the ugly. Are you happy with it? I love to cook and baking is one of my passions. I know this has been discussed previously, but to be honest I am to lazy to do a search.

We have one. I didn't think we would use that feature all that often, but we actually do use it quite a bit. It does cook evenly and faster. I think it's great to use when you're in a hurry or are cooking several dishes. Nothing bad to report! :thumbsup2

I have a GE Performance Profile dual convection range. It does regular heating and convection. My only complaint is that it takes forever to preheat. But that's for either way, not just convection. Takes about 20 minutes. I thought sure something was wrong, but the manual says it takes that long.

Baked things done in convection mode bake very evenly. Hope this helps.
