Convaid Rodeo- do I need a Stroller as a Wheelchair card?

My daughter has a Convaid Rodeo. She can walk but tires easily and will just be happier in her chair. Because it isn't a traditional looking wheelchair, will I need to get a wheelchair card, or should it not be a problem with taking it into lines?

If it doesn't look like a normal "wheelchair" as a person may recognize, I would get the tag. Just because you don't want to have to explain again and again and again and hope they agree with you.

I'm of the opinion that it doesn't hurt to get the tag, then you'll have it if you need it. Some may recognize the Convaid Rodeo as a wheelchair and you won't be questioned; however there could be a CM who sees it more as a stroller, especially if your daughter is young (a 30-yr-old may be more recognizable as using a wheelchair than a 7-yr old). The last thing I'd want is to be at the far end of a park and run across a CM who insists on the stroller tag; you'd have to walk all the way back to the front and waste precious time in the park that day. If you want to take the chance, see how it works the first day without a tag, especially if you won't mind an extra run back to Guest Relations or are willing to skip any given ride that day because you'll be returning later in the week.

Enjoy your vacation!

I have a convaid, and asked if we needed a tag when we got her DAS They told us we needed the tag.

We have a Rodeo and they suggested we have the tag. Like LilyWDW mentioned above it was more so that we didn't have to explain over and over (only one CM ended up asking to see the tag but I was glad to have it just in case) You can tell my dd has disabilities by seeing her though (she has severe CP). I would get it for your dd. Have a great trip!

If the wheelchair might possibly be mistaken for a stroller, you will want the stroller as wheelchair tag.

The majority of CMS should recognize it without the tag, but it's as much for other guests as for the CMs. Other guests with stroller age children are likely your say something about your "stroller" being in line or attractions if you don't have the tag.
