Continuing Stay Ressies ???

Our Grand Gathering group of 3 rooms have all booked a 1 night room only reservation followed by a 6 night free dining reservation at Port Orleans Riverside. We will be checking in on Aug 25, and then our package begins Aug 26. We want to take advantage of the LOEMH on the 26th, and would also like to have our dining credits available when we hit the park that morning, so the checkin process needs to be done first thing to activate our tickets. How early can we do the check out/check back in process? I'm just concerned that if I go to the desk to check out/in at 7am and they tell us that we have to change rooms that we'll end up missing LOEMH, what with the gathering of luggage and all. What do you think my best option is? Sorry this is so convoluted!

go check in at 6:30am.

you don't have to move your luggage - Disney will do - well at least store in bell services.

what I do is take an overnight bag for that one night. pack it with everything you need for the first night.

next morning you just repack it. the rest of your luggage if you fly is still in bell services. if you drive it is still in the car.
