Sorry if this has already been posted but...

The merger is complete and the official name is United (but with the Continental logo). Most importantly, my reservation confirmation number as well as flight numbers changed due to this (with no notification. I check my flights regularly). Just wanted to give a heads up to check your Continental flights for updated confirmations and flight numbers.

Thanks, we check ours all the time so we are aware of the transition. I also checked to make sure my mileage earned on CO stayed the same at the transition.
Our next trip on CO which is now UA is May, 2012. A few weeks ago they changed out outbound flights by an hour and a half. It sort of messed up my planning pre-cruise, so I called, got a United agent and she was able to get me on an earlier flight, getting into MCO at 2:00PM so now we are staying at a resort pre-cruise instead of an airport hotel. Its the last weekend of the flower & garden festival, so now we can go to Epcot Friday 5/18 and see the flowers..before getting on the Fantasy for our Eastern cruise.

I received no notification, but luckily I logged on to check and noticed that we had a major change to our flight schedule. They had us leaving Houston before actually arriving in Houston. Anyway, after one very looooong phone call, it was all taken care of and we now actually have an even better flight schedule.

I didn't receive any notifications either, but at least the only change was "CO" to "UA". Somehow with United though, I can upgrade our flights when with Continental I was just short miles.
