How are the Non-Tower rooms at the Contemporary? Are the renovations finished inside the rooms?

We have never stayed at the CR. We are excited, yet I can't help wondering if the GF or even WL would be better.

The monorail and the quick walk to MK were the deciding factors, but a nice, comfortable room is soooo important to us.

:goodvibes Thank you for any thoughts on this!:goodvibes

like the first floor - they have a patio.

so ask for one!

tell if the elevators still have a character (I think it was Mickey's) talking to you. I know they cancelled Goofy in the main tower.:confused3

Ty spiceycat! I called and asked for first floor, and added closest to the tower.
The CM I talked to was very nice about adding the request. Hope we get it!!

I will let you know about the elevators....sounds soooo disney, lol

I stayed in a wing room in December. All of the rooms, wing and tower, have been renovated. The beds were sooooo comfortable! I was as far out in the wing as you can get, and it was still less than five minutes to walk to the 4th floor in the tower. I was on the first floor, so I can't answer the elevator question though.

We stayed in a garden wing room and loved it. We got our request for first floor and had a great patio. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. You will not regret your choice!!!:goodvibes

We stayed in a garden wing room this past November for the first time and loved it! We were at the very end of the wing too. If you walk outside from the wing to the tower, it is a much faster walk than walking through the hallways to get there. About 5 minutes like another poster said. I loved those beds too. I need to call and find out where I can get one. My back hurts all of the time at home and it didn't hurt once while we were there.
