contemporary tower: castle view (CR experts please help!)

Hello, we booked contemporary tower view for 3 nights in april and requested a castle view. Has anyone requested this and not got what they asked for? we are not concierge - any floor tips. If you are on a low floor can you still see the castle?

Will calling the resort in the morning help? we are checking in at about 9pm.

I had a castle view at the WL and loved watching it change colors at night.

we requested a mk view on our last trip and did NOT get it... and we were staying 12th floor concierge..... we had the oppertunity to change rooms on our second day but after checking out the view from a room on the mk side we chose to stay on the bay side... we absolutly loved the view... sitting on the balcony over looking the pool and the lake was beautiful.... so dont worry if you dont get the mk view the bay side is great too...

I've requested MK view but I'm not worried. It seems like the CR tower is a win-win, with nice views on both sides.

We have stayed at CR twice. Both times with bay view. We have children dd 7 and ds 9. The water pagent goes by on the bay around 10. So, each night, we would be back in room with pjs, step onto balcony to watch the water show and go to bed. Perfect ending to perfect day. I would recommend that you stay as high as you can and on the opposite end of Chef Mickeys. The first time we were on a lower floor near CM and could hear the Celebrate Mickey Mouse song in our room which was fun at first but very old by day 7. The next year we stayed on a higher floor and at the end opposite of CM. We never heard the music in the room. Just a thought. We love the CR. MK is only a walk away!

Call to place your room requests on your reservation record. We asked for MK view above 9th floor as our first preference, and were pleasantly surprised to get it upon check-in.
