Contemporary Resort ?

If I want to be close to the food court, non-smoking.....what would I request to also have a view of the castle or the Electric Water Parade?

If you are staying in a wing room, the North building is closest to the food court, and you can see either the castle or electric boat pageant depending on parking lot view or bay view. We were in rm #7183 N. wing last summer and watched the fireworks from our room and the castle and also had a preime view of the monorail entering the tower. To view the night parade we just walked to the pier or pool/beach area and enjoyed the boat parade from there. It starts just a few minutes after the fireworks end. We can't say enough about the Contemporary!Our room was about a 3 min walk to the food court...if that. This building is also hte closest to walk the path to MK if you choose...about 15 minute walk or so.

The North Wing will only be available to Shades of Green guests starting tomorrow. SoG is closed for 18 months for expansion and refurbishment.

We stayed in a Bay view room in the South wing in January, and didn't feel that the walk to the main building was bad at all. All can be accomplished under shelter, or you can cut across the sand and take a couple of minutes off of your walk. Compared with the walks in the moderates, this just doesn't compare. However, if you want something really close, then request non smoking in the Tower, and the best view is of the MK, of course!
