Contemporary Renovations?

I am trying to decide between the Contemporary Tower or Grand Floridian for November (need to make a decision quick since it is only a month away!)

What is going on with the renovations at the Contemporary? Have the Tower rooms been done yet? If not, that will make our decision very easy for us!

They are rehabbing one floor at a time in the Tower. I'm not sure what floor they are working on now.

As far as I know only 1 floor has been completely renovated (10th, which is now the Atrium Club), they are working on 9 and 12 currently (not sure how many, if any of those rooms are completed and open now)....so I would not plan on getting a rennovated room in Nov. unless you book Atrium Club.

We just got back from a stay at the 10th floor at the tower. The 9th floor is sealed off, but the 12th was not. So either that's very close to being finished or it hasn't started yet. Like the previous poster, I think the only way to guarantee a new room is to stay on the 10th floor Atrium club. Hope this helps....

I stayed on the 11th floor last week. The 10th floor is definitely done, you can see the different floors and doors down there. I didn't notice 9 looking anything like 10. They are currently working on 12, it's all shrouded over so you can't see what they're doing (and I must say, we never heard anything either. Only thing we noticed were workers painting outside the front of the building.) 10 is currently being used as Concierge Light, once 12 is finished I believe they are going to move 14th floor Concierge to 12 and work on 14. I think for the time being the only way to get a renovated room is to pay the extra money to stay on one of the concierge floors.
