We are being from SOG to Cont. North Garden Wing. I have heard some mixed opinions about this. Has anyone ever stayed in this part of the Contemporary. Is it convenient to the monorail. We have two small children 2 and 5 and have heard that it could be inconvenient to eat, monorail, shops etc. Please help with any info!

HI,
We have stayed in the North wing twice and in the Tower once. The North wing is the one we have stayed in, it is the closest to the food court in the main building and the elevator up to the monorail. It is a good deal for an excellant resort! Highly recomended. If you dont mind a farther walk, request a corner room of the garden wings. You get two windows and a nice view of the lake and the marina area.

Correct me if I am wrong about the north wing.

We have stayed in the North Garden Wing twice. If you stay on the Magic Kingdom side you will get an awesome view of the monorail and the fireworks at night. It's a very quick walk to the tower and then up the escalators or elevators to the monorail platform. Chef Mickey's is a great place for charactor meals.
It is also only a short walk to the Magic Kingdom if you ever felt like skipping the monorail.
Have a great time.
