contemporary in dec

i'm trying to book a room nov 30th thru dec 4th at contemporary but central reservations say whole place is booked?!? I thought this was the slowest week of the year! Anyone know what the deal is?

That is weird! Online is also showing no availibility at the Contemporary for your dates. It is getting busier and busier each year the first week of December, but totally booked? You might want to try to change your dates a little. Even if only one night is booked, it will show no avalibily for the whole week. I hear a lot of locals like to go down that week for a night or two. We were going to go Nov-30 through Dec 5, but we swtiched to the end of January for a little change of pace (seems like forever since we have seen Disney without x-mas stuff!). The last few trips we have been there the first week of December and last time it was noticably more crowded, but nothing would make me think eveything was booked. I wonder if they are planning a rehab based on the whole water main break thing, therefore removing rooms from inventory?

Well, I just switched from there to AKL and my ressies were from 11/30-12/04 so I know there was one less room booked there as of last week. That is odd...

There could be a convention that has booked a whole bunch of rooms. That might have picked up the traffic. I know conventioneers like the CR.

I booked months ago at WL for that week. Was going to go the next week but DD's b-day on 12/1 wanted to be there for that. They say the Floridians go to the MVMCP on weekends book 1 night that will mess all week up. I'm hearing that's what they are doing. I'm from FL never been to the party but thank goodness going on a Thurs. for that. Only reason going for DD's birthday surprise. Wishing now was going the next week I guess.
