Staying in the CR for the first time in November, just 3 nites before our Poly stay. I'm booked for the Atrium club, but you can only request a view, not a guarantee. Thinking of switching to a Tower room, no club, with a guaranteed MK view. For our first stay, which would be the best CR experience? I love the idea of the MK view, since the CR is so close to the park, and I love the idea of the Atrium club, but I might end up looking at construction and Bay Lake. Help! Which to choose?

Do you need assistance with your preplanning? Or are you choosing it more for the lounge? Are you going to be disappointed if staying on the Atrium club floor with no MK view?

I think the answers to these questions should point you in the direction of what is best for your family.

My personal opinion would be to go with the guaranteed view and drop the concierge service. We stayed in an MK view tower room in May and it was the most beautiful views I have ever seen. We were on the balcony here more than when we stayed Savannah view at AKL it was so nice. I don't think that would have been the case with the Bay Lake view.

There is nothing like the MK view from a CR room. Unless you really plan on using the concierge offerings I'd switch especially since it's your first time staying at the CR.

We'd be using the club level for the lounge only, not the pre planning services. We are planned already. I'm so torn, not sure if I should roll with the punches and hopefully get a MK view atrium club level...I do think tho, that I'd be bummed not to have that view. I know I'm sounding like I want it all, but I'm just trying to get it right.

If you arrive, do NOT have the MK view, and would be disappointed, then skip the AC and book the Theme Park View Tower room. If you would be ok without it, then stay on the AC.

FYI, I found the AC nice but the food offerings weren't as good as the GF, there wasn't a large selection of food (my pictures are on AllEars under the CR from our trip), there was no cappuccino machine and only packaged hot chocolate, and you had to ask for beverages (milk, juice, soda) at times. It was good, but not great. We love concierge, and this will be our first non-concierge trip. For us, not being able to guarantee the MK view was NOT worth taking a chance again on the AC.

So would you be bummed if you didn't have club? If the answer is no, switch to Tower-MK View. If you would, which one would bumb you more?
