Yes, all of the wing rooms have been updated/refurbished. The standard view rooms generally have views of the hotel parking lot. The garden view rooms can overlook the pool, marina, Bay Lake, or the canal which connects Bay Lake with the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Thanks a bunch!

Do all the wing rooms have a balcony?

Can I request a view?

To the OP incase you don't know this the North Garden Wing has been demolished, so that means you're going to get a room in the South Garden Wing.

Thanks, yes I was told when making the reservation of this. I just got back from the WL and saw the construction going on which is quite a distance from the South side. I stood in the North wing years ago, is there a difference between the two sides?

Thanks a bunch ;)

You're welcome however I have no idea how much of a difference there is between the North Garden Wing and South Garden Wing, because my family and I have always stayed in the Tower.

None of the wing rooms have balconies but the 1st floor rooms have patios. You can request a view but Disney will not guarantee it.

There is no difference in the rooms either in the tower or wing. They are the same size and have the same floor plan, etc. The only difference is that Tower rooms have balconies, wing rooms do not.

I'm surprised to see two posts today saying there's no difference in the rooms between the Tower and the Wing. We've got a Garden Wing - Deluxe (used to be called a "mini suite", I think), and the descriptions I've heard/read make it sound different, and possibly bigger, than a regular room. Is this because it's really a 'suite', not a room?

I was referring to the standard rooms in the resort. If you book a deluxe room or a suite, its going to be different from the standard room.

I've stayed at the CR twice in a standard room. Both times in the South Wing (the only wing now). Both times I faced the parking lot. The good thing was we got to watch the monorail go by. Yes, no balconies at the South Wing. (Should we just call it the wing now, since there are no longer 2?)
