Anyone know what the Fl Res rate is for the Comtemporary (Wing section)? Mousesavers doesn't have it listed & I called CRO, they quoted me $201 with tax.... That doesn't sound correct. Mousesavers has it listed for anyone at $164 (with tax it would be around $184 per night). Can anyone tell me??????

I received the very same response you did for the FL resident Contemporary rate and was surprised as well. The Polynesian for the same time is only $20 more per day (222 incl. tax) so we're staying there.

I was also quoted that rate (it works out to $181 plus tax, a savings of $83). As is sometimes the case, the discount for the monorail resorts is not as good as the other discounts. WL and AKL are $124 a night, which is a discount of $115 off the rack rate. If you can find a room (they were already sold out at WL for my dates on the afternoon that the code came out). We opted for a moderate, since the $74 rate is great for regular season (heck, it would be a good rate for value season).

CR rate of $164 was sold out for May 13-19 so we took WL Woods at $154

It may just have been sold out since SOG is taking most of the North Wing

Thanks
Jason

I was able to get the CR wing standard veiw for 154 per night. It is 166.14/night with tax. My dates are 5/15-5/19. I did change this ressie 3x's. Started with AXA for 194 then got CZF for 184 and finally Fl resident for 166. I asked about AP rates and was told that they would be the same as the FL resident rates but I was welcome to call and check when they come out.

I already have a mod (POR) booked.... did that back on the $104 rate code, then switched to the $94 rate....and just recently got it down to the $74 Fl res rate code. That was when I asked CRO about the Contemporary. I figured if it were cheap enough, I would stay there instead.....but from what they had said it wasn't. For the4 $20 price difference.....the Poly is much.....better. My husband wants to wait & see what rates the Poly will have with AP rates. For now we will keep our POR. We still haven't been able to beat the deal we got at the Poly in the Summer of 2001 .....$255 per night....tax included for Conciegie (can't spell it)...that was a FL res rate..... I doublt that we will ever see that again......
